Passengers using wheelchairs will receive upon registering two $20 vouchers ($40) for use in a Lime, Apple or GPS wheelchair accessible taxi for use until August 2007. These vouchers are limited to single use only.
Passengers to receive their vouchers will need to register their details with Lime Taxis by calling 1300 726 894.
All bookings for a WAT taxi will need to be made to 13 LIME (13 5463) more than 48 hours in advance of their desired travel.
Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Live Payments' Pre-paid Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Voucher - 1 February 2007 to 31 July 2007
The following constitutes the whole of the terms and conditions for the supply of the Live Payments' Pre-paid Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Voucher ("the Vouchers") under this promotion. There shall be no variation except in writing and all use of the Vouchers shall be made by these conditions.
1. The Promotion
- (a) Live Payments, in conjunction with the Purchaser (defined in clause 8), is offering wheelchair users in the Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme ("TTSS"), complimentary wheelchair accessible taxi travel between 1 February 2007 and 31 July 2007 ("the Promotion").
- (b) Eligible participants in the Promotion ("Passengers") will receive two Vouchers for use in Lime Taxis', Apple Taxis', or GPS Cabs' wheelchair accessible taxis.
- (c) The Vouchers will be issued in order of registration.
- (d) Each voucher is valid for AUD$20.00 ("the Face Value"). The Face Value is clearly printed on the Voucher.
2. Agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions
Passengers and Drivers using the Voucher acknowledge that these conditions of use shall apply and they agree that they are bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in this Promotion, Passengers must:
- (a) Be registered as a wheelchair user with the TTSS and provide their TTSS account number to Lime Taxis.
- (b) Passengers must register with Lime Taxis by calling 1300 726 894.
Passengers who have previously registered with Lime Taxis should contact Lime and advise of their intention to participate in this Promotion. - (c) Passengers should provide details of any special requirements, including their wheelchair dimensions, to Lime Taxis to confirm whether the fleet can accommodate their needs.
4. Expiry date
- (a) The Vouchers are valid for use by Passengers from 1 February 2007 to 31 July 2007 (inclusive).
- (b) Vouchers expire at midnight on 31 July 2007 ("Expiry Date"). The Expiry Date is printed on the Voucher. All trips must commence prior to the Expiry Date.
5. Delivery of Vouchers
- (a) Live Payments will use best efforts to issue the Vouchers to eligible Passengers within two (2) business days of registration by that Passenger.
- (b) The Vouchers will be issued by Express Post to the mailing address provided by the Passenger.
- (c) Live Payments and its related entities will accept no responsibility for delays in delivery or Vouchers lost or stolen during postage.
6. Use of the Vouchers
- (a) Once the Passenger has received the Vouchers, the Vouchers may be used.
- (b) Passengers intending to use the Vouchers must pre-book a taxi by calling Lime Taxis 48 hours in advance. Whilst Lime Taxis will use best efforts to ensure that a taxi is available, no aspect of this promotion should be read as a guarantee that a taxi will be available at the requested time and date. Taxis will be subject to availability.
- (c) Vouchers may only be used for a wheelchair accessible taxi trip in a wheelchair accessible taxi with either Lime Taxis, Apple Taxis or GPS Cabs.
- (d) At the completion of the trip, vouchers must be presented with the Passenger's valid TTSS docket for payment of the fare.
- (e) Vouchers cannot be used unless presented with a valid TTSS docket at the time of payment of the fare. The TTSS docket will be used to pay fifty per cent (50%) of the fare and the Voucher can be used to pay the balance.
- (f) The Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash whatsoever and no change is given for fares that are less than the Face Value.
- (g) Vouchers are only valid for travel commencing in the Sydney Metropolitan Transport District.
7. Theft or loss
- (a) Once the Vouchers have been posted by Live Payments, the Passenger is responsible for keeping the Vouchers secure and undamaged.
- (b) Due to the pre-paid nature of the Vouchers, in the event that a Voucher is lost, stolen, or damaged the Voucher cannot be replaced.
8. Service fees
- (a) The Vouchers are purchased by third parties ("the Purchaser") and donated for use by Passengers for this promotion.
- (b) A service fee is applied to each Voucher equal to ten per cent (10%) of the Face Value ("the Service Fee").
- (c) The Service Fee is paid by the Purchaser.
- (d) No fees are levied on either the Passenger or the Driver.
9. Complaints
- (a) Any problem experienced with the Vouchers, payment or acceptance or other operational matter should be reported to us at:
enquiries@livepayments.com.au so that we may resolve any difficulties as promptly as possible.
10. Limitation of liability
- (a) Live Payments will use best endeavors to ensure that Lime Taxis', Apple Taxis' and GPS Cabs' Drivers accept the Vouchers. Live Payments, the Purchaser, and MACT Network are not liable for refusal by a Driver to accept the Voucher.
- (b) Live Payments, the Purchaser, and MACT Network are not liable whatsoever for loss or injury to persons or property arising from a taxi journey.
- (c) Live Payments, the Purchaser, and MACT Network are not liable for any misdescription by any supplier nor any other act, including negligence, of any service provider or other third party.
11. Privacy
- (a) Live Payments needs to collect the personal information requested from the Passenger at the time of registration to enable it to provide the Promotion. Live Payments may disclose the personal information it collects in this Agreement to:
- Its relevant staff involved in delivering services;
- Its related entities; and
- Contractors and contracted service providers engaged by Live Payments to deliver its services
- (b) The Passenger agrees that Live Payments may use and disclose the Passenger's information as set out in 11(a). The consent to the use and disclosure of the Passenger's personal information remains valid unless the Passenger alters or revokes it by giving Live Payments written notice. If the information provided in or in connection with the Promotion is personal information, the Passenger can ask Live Payments about which personal information Live Payments holds about the Passenger and where necessary notify Live Payments, in writing, of changes so that the information Live Payments holds about the Passenger is accurate, complete and up to date.
